2023 - Mission: Possible!
2023 marked the debut of our National Superhero Day celebration, which brought over 3,000 people to downtown Cleveland to honor our superhero kids and watch the lights of Terminal Tower turn blue & orange. We shared our story at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle and FAN EXPO in Cleveland, and continued to recruit new animation studios and illustrators of all kinds. In other exciting news, The Superhero Project was featured in the pages of People and Woman’s World magazines and launched SHP4ALL, a program to bring our inventive and inspiring work into new hospitals, schools, camps and organizations.
“I cannot begin to explain how EXCITED we BOTH were to receive these AMAZING posters.
First thing Leah noticed was her hair, then she saw everything else (the sign and the white Lilly flower on her chest ).
[The poster is] SO PERFECT. PLEASE tell the artist how content my Leah Faith was with her masterpiece.
How sweet to receive a note from the artist as well. I knew from the beginning how sensational this would be, but it literally blew me away.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!”
