2017-2018
Episode I: The Animators Awaken
After officially launching near the end of 2017, The Superhero Project began reaching out to families in the greater Cleveland area. Founder Lisa Kollins regularly visited the pediatric oncology/hematology unit and the Angie Fowler Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Institute at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. We also participated in our first community event, Super Kids Save the City in Avon, Ohio, where we interviewed 20 kids in one afternoon! Other highlights of 2018 included trips to the Ronald McDonald House and the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Northeast Ohio Family Fall Festival.
